Jack and his team were fantastic from start to finish. As an architect with a keen eye for design and quality construction, I had high standards for this project, and they met every one of them. Jack transformed our basement into a beautiful, livable space and added a 150 sq. ft. full bathroom with a stand-up shower. Throughout the process, communication was excellent—he was easy to work with, adaptable to changes, and always kept us informed. His crew was skilled, respectful, and maintained a clean worksite, cleaning up daily so as not to disrupt our household. My wife and I were on a tight deadline to finish before the arrival of our second child, and Jack prioritized our schedule, completing the project three weeks early. His pricing was fair—mid-range compared to other estimates—but worth every penny for the attention, integrity, and peace of mind he provided. There were 3 major things i was looking for in a contractor specifically for a bigger job. 1) Quality work 2) competitive pricing (staying on budget) and 3) timeliness. Bonomo and sons hit the mark on all of these points. We have been talking to Jack about our project for a few years, figuring out our finances and lining up with the market pricing. There was no pushiness, no gimmicks, but direct advice on what would be best for myself and family in terms of the project. Bonomo finished in 3 months, did great quality work, and stayed really close to budget. Jack gave advice on designs (better eye than me) and helped us with the best possible plans with our architect. The different workers were respectful of our house, stayed near and cleaned up after themselves, any nicks and bumps that happened during construction were promptly fixed (even when they were our fault ). They were good with kids and even the dog , pretty sure they let her out and played with her too. Lastly, we love the addition, it looks great and we are really happy.
